About Rod Amos

Rod’s voice is well known across the Central Coast as the host of 2GOFM’s ‘Our House’ real estate program and the ‘Our House’ podcast. His voice and auction skills have been a feature of thousands of successful auctions over the past 22 years across the region from Sydney to Newcastle. Commencing a career as a Commercial Photographer in the late 70s, Rod moved across to Sales & Marketing eventually holding national roles with companies such as HPM Industries, Clipsal & Stanley/Sidchrome. Moving from the Northern Beaches in 1983 and eventually sought a career closer to his Central Coast home & family. In 1999 Rod began his Real Estate career in Gosford before a move to the then leading Terrigal office in 2000. He quickly established a leading profile and record of success, results that placed him in the top 5% tier of agents nationally. His auction skills being in constant demand Rod created East Coast Auctions in 2004 and moved from the sales role to that of full-time auctioneer. From 2004 Rod established a successful franchise of Open2view real estate photographers across the Central Coast, Newcastle & Mid-North Coast. Missing both the challenge and interaction of real estate sales, in 2018, Rod returned to assist his clients as both their agent and auctioneer.
