Managing Director of Woodards Thornbury Mario Butera is a classic example of an individual who has climbed the ranks of the real estate industry. Commencing his career in 1974 at age 17, Mario worked as a Sales Person in a prominent East Melbourne agency. In 1976 he was offered a Sales Manager position across town, a move that saw Mario enter the competitive Clifton Hill real estate market. In 1984 Mario became the Managing Director of Woodards Thornbury, a position he remains in today. “My management style is very hands-on and through ongoing training, support and guidance, I have successfully developed a team of dynamic, like-minded professionals who all share a passion for real estate.” Although no longer residing in the area, Mario grew up in Thornbury and his knowledge of the local real estate market is unsurpassed. His exuberance and enthusiasm about the area combined with extensive industry knowledge and innovative ideas set the benchmark of service to which others aspire to achieve.
