About Lachlan Macdonald

A third generation real estate agent, Lachlan Macdonald has extensive knowledge and experience across a range of industry disciplines. He has lived and breathed real estate from a young age, having grown up around the successful family real estate business established by his grandparents in the 1970s and which has remained in family hands ever since. Lachlan’s intrinsic understanding of real estate, combined with his passion for property, can be credited with his accomplishment of being the youngest ever Franchisee in the Ray White group. Having grown and then on-sold an enviable business, the logical next step for Lachlan was to continue to build upon his skills and realise a career goal of auctioning and selling real estate in Sydney’s highly competitive Eastern Suburbs. An award winning auctioneer, he joined the team at Cooley Auctions, aware of the perfect synergy between this role and his long term goals. By conducting well in excess of 1000 auctions across all areas of Sydney, Lachlan was able to accelerate his expertise in all marketplaces and more importantly gain an unparalleled comprehension of all aspects of auction strategy and process. Simultaneously, as a sales agent with one of Double Bay’s oldest boutique real estate businesses, Lachlan negotiated successful sales for his clients in some of Sydney’s most prestigious inner city suburbs. Following the passing of his grandfather, Lachlan made the choice to return to the family business he had painstakingly founded and in this, it’s 40th year in operation, both carry on and cultivate it’s long held reputation as one of the Central Coasts most respected estate agencies.
