About Karen Resident of Cairns since 1989, I commenced my real estate career in 1999 and since that time I have focused solely on Cairns real estate in business development, asset management and residential sales. I have over 20 years expertise and market knowledge of the Cairns property market and specialise in the Cairns City and Waterfront market. I am very fortunate to live and work in the Cairns CBD just around the corner from Cairns lagoon and waterfront, opposite the Cairns Regional library. I absolutely love living in the tropics and regard Cairns as a stylish city, the gateway to Queensland’s tropical north and embrace it’s relaxed, tropical climate and laid back ambience. Cairns is surrounded by the most spectacular mountain ranges and waterfront landscapes, so I get to enjoy the most beautiful scenery every day!! Being a part of the Local Community Being community minded and orientated, I have been consistent contributor to community wellbeing through involvement in many sporting and community events. As an organiser with strong experience in running events and conferences and coordinating events - among them Ten’s Coral Coast Triathlon, the Men’s Open Tennis Championship, Rosie’s Run [Women’s Fun Run], and Sporting Wheelies, as well QLD Police Citizens Youth Welfare Association. I also served for a total of 6 years on the Arts Nexus Management Committee in support of arts and cultural development in FNQ.
